CMC-Asia started in Singapore in 2007, as a subsidiary of CMC-Europe, and became an independent profit centre after it moved to Thailand in 2010. Mijnd Huijser, founder of both CMC-Europe and CMC-Asia, has worked as a consultant and trainer since 1993. He reconciled the work of the renowned culture gurus Geert Hofstede and Fons Trompenaars, and published 'The Cultural Advantage, A New Model for Succeeding with Global Teams' (4th edition 2010 Ayn-Press) and 'Managing Mindsets' (co-author Danaë Huijser) in 2011 (www.ayn-press.com)
Mijnd Huijser holds an academic degree in philosophy and cultural anthropology, and worked in Southeast-Asia, the Middle East and Europe for fifteen years, before establishing CMC in 1993.

Our services are customized to our client’s needs. What they have in common, though, is that they are cost-effective by integrating online tools, and that they are rooted in our unique, easy to grasp Culture Model.
The core of our online assessments is the Corporate Culture Scan. Assessments can either be executed as a stand-alone, after which the company’s internal consultants take over, or as part of a larger consultancy project, led by CMC-Asia in cooperation with our partner CMC Europe and associates.
Our one-day culture workshops target all layers of the organization. They can be delivered in eight languages, and focus on enhancing awareness and skills or on company-specific topics.
